The ACL Music Festival is back this October with a full lineup of the biggest names in the world of music. The Chicks will headline the event on Friday, followed by Diplo, Flume, P!nk, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. On Saturday, Death Cab for Cutie and SZA will headline. Red Hot Chili Peppers will headline the festival’s closing ceremony on Sunday.

The lineup for the upcoming Austin City Limits Music Festival was announced on Tuesday. The two-day event will feature more than 100 bands, including Red Hot Chili Peppers. This year, attendees can expect performances from Drake, Kacey Musgraves, Paramore, Lil Nas X, and many more. In addition to the headliner, you can also catch acts from local restaurants and other artists.
Whether attending the festival on the first or the twentieth, you’ll undoubtedly be in for an incredible show. This year’s lineup features several headliners from deep-rooted Texas, including Kacey Musgraves and The Chicks. You’ll want to check out other performers, including Spoon, Robert Glasper, and Tobe Nwigwe. For weekend two, check out Teezo Touchdown and Darkbird.

Their support allows us to host hundreds of volunteer events to enhance the city’s parks and public spaces.

Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats
The opening act for Chris Stapleton at the ACL Music Festival was Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats. They played at a sold-out after-party at Stubbs, a legendary Austin venue. The band played gospel-braised R&B and evoked the sound of Seventies Jersey outfit Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes.
The band’s new tour dates through the summer have been announced. After headlining the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, the band will hit the big festivals. Coachella and Sasquatch Music Festival are their first appearances on the calendar, followed by Firefly Music Festival and the New Orleans Jazz Fest. The Night Sweats will also play a handful of intimate shows.
The GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist is heading to Austin, Texas, for three sold-out shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium this past weekend. He performed with Bryan Sutton, Bob Weir, and Les Claypool on Friday and Saturday, and then on Sunday, he joined forces with Marty Stuart, Ronnie McCoury, and more. The dates are part of his massive headline tour through the fall.
